We're working hard to build Naas, and need more help! If you know anybody who would like to contribute to open source - in engineering, marketing roles, and more - please let us know and tell your friends!

September 22nd, 2021 โ€” Naas low code drivers, the new way ๐ŸŒฑ

New features

(1) Refactoring naas_drivers repository

Naas drivers are one of the 3 layers of Naas (with the templates and the core engine). They will help you integrate tools in a few lines of code. It's the low code philosophy!

To make the repository easier to navigate. We have refactored the tools folder. One tool, one python file with all the functions. โ†’ drivers#158

(2) Alert before choosing to run your scheduler every minute โš ๏ธ

Scheduling a notebook every minute should be something you consider wisely.

This is the reason why we have added a special alert when you set up a cron to "every minute" naas.scheduler.add(cron="* * * * *") โ†’ naas#209

Think twice to make sure it's really needed ๐Ÿ˜‡. It's often better to trigger an action from your source tools with naas webhook feature: naas.webhook.add()

Check the webhook tutorialโ†’

(3) Send daily AWS account balance and forecast on a Slack channel

New project: LinkedIn Data Content Creators database

Last Friday, Jeremy posted about 10 people he likes to follow on LinkedIn and offered to anyone interested to disclose his full list of Data Content Creators.

But it was just a list of names and LinkedIn profiles. So with Maxime and Jeremy decide to build a small data product using Naas.

They used DuckDB + Naas Linkedin and Notion integration to make this...and the result is quite amazing.
